General Pre-Procedure Information:

• Do not exercise the day of the procedure
• Do not tan or come with a sunburned face
• Do not consume Alcohol, Aspirin, Niacin, Vitamin E or Ibuprofen 24 hours before the procedure
• Do not consume caffeinated products 12 hours before the procedure
• Do not wax or tint eyebrows 24 hours prior to the appointment
• Avoid Chemical Peels, Botox, Laser treatment 1 months prior to your appointment.
• For optimal results, the skin to be treated should not be irritated.
• If you use or have used Retin A or any other medications, please advise the technician.
• Pain Preparation: though the sensation of micro-pigmentation implantation is minimal, clients
respond differently. Some will feel a stronger sensation than others. Overall, procedures require
minimal pain preparation. However, some clients use some sort of preparation for the treatment
as a mental comfort. Many have taken Tylenol 30 minutes before treatment. This will not interfere
with the procedure.
• Please note that you will be more sensitive during, 3 days before and 3 days after your menstrual
cycle.
Eyebrows
• Avoid direct sunlight and tanning salons for a one-week period.
• Please scrub your eyebrow area 2-3 days prior to your appointment.
Lip Blush
• Tattooing your lips can be quite sensitive.
• You may swell or bruise, please make sure you don’t have anything important for the next 1-2
days after your visit (depends on the person).
• Your lips cannot be chapped for this treatment, please keep your lips hydrated with chapstick,
Vaseline or Vitamin A&D.
• For clients with any history of cold sores/fever blisters/herpes, even if it was when you were a
child, contact your physician and request a prescription for Zovirax or Valtrex. Lip Blush can be
done after 4 weeks of an outbreak.
• Please scrub your lips 2-3 days prior to your appointment.

Eyeliner
• Do not wear contact lenses during or within 24 hours following the eyeliner procedure.
• Bring sunglasses to wear. Eyes may be light sensitive.
• Do not dye, perm, or curl lashes for 5 days prior to your appointment. Please remove your
eyelashes extensions few days before your eyeliner appointment.
Discontinue use of any eyelash growing serums like Latisse one month prior to the procedure.
• If you have had any type of eye surgery, consult with the physician about how long you should
wait before having a permanent eyeliner procedure. Most physicians are giving a 2 month okay
after cataract, LASIK, and blepharoplasty.
